Multi-site Selling Guide

Reach more buyers in more countries and grow your sales by selling in multiple eBay sites. Here’s how you can get started:

Create a New eBay ID

As each eBay account is eligible to enjoy Store fee discounts on only one eBay site, we recommend creating different eBay IDs for each site you sell on so you always benefit from the best fee rates.

Create a New eBay ID in 4 simple steps:

Select an eBay Store Subscription Level

Once you’ve selected which country site you’d like to expand your business to, opening an eBay Store will enable you to enjoy the best fee rates.

All eBay sites have 3 Store subscription levels. All 3 levels entitle sellers to varying fee discounts, especially on fixed price insertion fees.

Select an eBay Store Subscription Level

Example: eBay.com

For example, on eBay.com the 3 subscription levels are known as Basic, Premium and Anchor Stores. Non-Store owners do not receive any fee discounts, while Anchor Store owners enjoy the highest fee discounts, which can mean huge savings, especially when selling hundreds of items.

Compare the fee structure of Store owners and Non-Store owners on each eBay site to see how you can benefit with the right Store subscription level for your selling activity.

Meet the Requirements to Open your Store

Each eBay site has its own requirements for opening a Store.

Example: eBay.com.au

For example on eBay.com.au, regardless of your Store subscription level, you’ll need:

  • An eBay seller account with your credit card on file.
  • An eBay ID that has been registered for 14 days or more.
  • A feedback score of 5 or more.

Take time to understand the requirements for opening a Store on the site you’re going to sell on to ensure you meet the criteria.
